Lisa Elanna Beck and Joseph Allan Burris were united in Matrimony on August 6th, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic church my Monsignor Gary Applegate.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Judith Beck. The groom is the son of Dennis and Barbara Burris.
The bride was presented by her father and was attended by Alison Peterson as her Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Burris, sister of the groom, Jenn Harris, Sara Outhier and Kendra Stevenson. The groom was attended by Dennis Burris, II, brother, as Best Man. Groomsmen were Tony Schimke, Jason Seaton, Mitch Spencer and Warren Beck, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at J.W. Crancer's, 530 Delaware St. in Leavenworth, KS, with 185 persons attending from New York to Texas.
The Bride is a graduate of Kansas State University, where she received a Master's degree. The Groom is a graduate of Emporia State University where he received a Bachelor's degree. The couple attended a week long honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii and are now residing in Austin, Texas. The bride is completing a Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas. The groom is employed at Ft. Hood, Texas as an Information Systems specialist.
