The future bride is the daughter of Steve and Vicki Rauch, Coffeyville. She is a graduate of Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. She earned bachelor’s degrees in theater/film and dance from Kansas University and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Rockhurst University. She is a physical therapist at Neu Physical Therapy in Lawrence.
The future groom is the son of Tom and Linda Oertel, Leavenworth. He is a graduate of Pleasant Ridge High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kansas University and a medical degree from KU Medical School. He is a second year resident in Internal Medicine at KUMC. He is the grandson of Margaret Oertel
Gorski, Leavenworth and Mary Alyce Lednicky, Everest.
The couple plan a December 3, 2011 wedding at Danforth Chapel at KU.
