  • Authorities are investigating a robbery at a Leavenworth bank.
The robbery was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Monday at Country Club Bank, 2310 S. Fourth St. No injuries were reported.
A man who displayed a weapon fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He left the area in a stolen vehicle, which has been recovered, according to Bridget Patton, spokeswoman for the FBI office in Kansas City, Mo.
The car was driven by a second suspect, who also remains at large.
The robber was described as a black man who is about 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
He was wearing a surgical mask and a black jacket with a police or security-type patch.
The FBI has released pictures of the robber that were captured by cameras at the bank.
There is no description of the second suspect who drove the getaway vehicle.
Monday’s incident comes about two months after a robbery at Citizens National Bank in downtown Leavenworth. In that earlier robbery, the suspect also wore a surgical mask over his face but dressed in a military style uniform.
Robberies also were reported at Leavenworth banks in November, February and March.
