Norveta D. Karpierz, 80, Leavenworth, Kan. passed away peacefully Tuesday,

July 17, 2012.

She was born October 30, 1931 in Tracey, Mo. the daughter of David Tate and Rose Amos Tate. She married Benny Karpierz, he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Linda M. Karpierz, Peggy L. Hyde, Denise

A. Karpierz, and Michelle R. LeFebvre, nine grandchildren, fifteen great

grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one on the way.

She is also survived by one sister Neldean Mosbacher and one brother Jack

Tate.

She was such an inspiration to her family and friends, her spunkiness

will be greatly missed.

  There will be a service of remembrance held from 5 to 7 pm Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. The family has requested no flowers, but would like memorial contributions to be made to the Council On Aging, 1830 South Broadway, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
