    Walter F. Robker, 94, formerly of Leavenworth, Kan. passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Midwest City, Okla.
    Walter was born May 20, 1918, in Easton, Kan. the son of Frederick and Marie (Knollman) Robker. On April 30, 1947, he married Alma Jenicke, she preceded him in  death on July 14, 1998. They were married 51 years.
    He had a sister Marie Robker who also preceded him in death in June 2001.
    He is survived by three children; Douglas Robker and wife Mary Ann, Cherryvale, Kan., Gayle (Robker) Brown and husband Edward, Oklahoma City, Okla., Gerald Robker and wife Carla, Manhattan, Kan., eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
    Mr. Robker was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Easton, Kan. He held a variety of church offices. He also served on the St. John Cemetery Board and was the caretaker of several years.
    Mr. Robker farmed in the Easton Community until he retired to Leavenworth in 1979. He served on various Soil Conservation Service committees. He held various offices in the Easton Lions Club.
    He lived in Leavenworth until 2001, moving to Midwest City, Okla. in 2001.
    The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Church, Easton, Kan. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery, Easton, Kan.
