Team Outlook: STRENGTHS — The Lions will go after a fourth straight Kaw Valley League Championship with a senior nucleus that knows what it takes to win.

Besides the experience, Brown noted some added team speed and several highly-skilled juniors as other positive areas.

WEAKNESSES —  Though Lansing has a quality group of returnees, the important position of center midfield has yet to be claimed.

The squad will also need to stay healthy at certain spots due to depth issues and continue to develop as a team according to its coach.

Big games: Home vs. Leavenworth on Sept. 6; Home vs. Mill Valley on Sept. 27
