    Leo D. Zule, 80 of Nortonville, Kan. passed away Sunday, September 16th, 2012 at a Kansas City Hospital.
    Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at Belden Larkin Funeral Home with Father George Bertles officiating.
    Visitation will be Wednesday September 19th, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary at 6 p.m. Burial will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Easton, Kansas
    Leo was born June 1st, 1932, in Leavenworth County, the son of Charles and Pauline (Linaweaver) Zule.
    He married Yvonne Capesius on October 23rd, 1954, she preceded him in death on May 22nd, 1989.
    Leo was a lifetime farmer north of McLouth for many years. After retirement he moved to Nortonville where he enjoyed gardening, playing cards with friends and family, visiting local casinos to play the penny machines and visit with fellow patrons.
    Survivors include two sons; Duane and his wife Julie, and Richard, all of McLouth, Kan.; four grandchildren; Dustin, Matthew, Desy, and Zachary, and nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his wife and three brothers.
    Pallbearers will be David, Greg, Dustin and Matthew Zule, Glenn Coffey and Nick Herken.
    Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary, Dean, and Ronnie Zule, and Mike Watkins.
    Memorials in his name may be given to the American Cancer Society.
    Arrangements have been entrusted to Belden-Larkin Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
