The Pleasant Ridge cross country team took home a lot of medals Tuesday from the Tonganoxie Invite.
As a team, the PR girls won second, coming in behind Topeka Hayden. Individually, Tony Weber was first overall in the boys’ race and six girls received medals.
“We had a lot of personal bests tonight,” PR coach Chad Hendrix said.
“A lot of girls broke 17 minutes and the boys had a lot personal bests as well so it was a great night.”
The Pleasant Ridge girls saw Rachel Hattok win seventh, Hailey Worthington capture 10th, Kristina Silvers take 13th, Grace McKinny place 18th, Taylor Satre come in 21st place and Peyton Goulb nail down 26th.
Weber’s first-place run was a new school record.
PR will compete Saturday at 9 a.m. in the KU Relays at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence.
