Mary Kim Dugger Smith, 53, of Leavenworth, Kan. passed away quietly at her home on October 3, 2012.
She was born on January 26, 1958, in Atchison, Kan. She married Roy E. Smith on August 8, 2003 in Leavenworth. He survives at the home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lillian Dugger, two brothers, William and Ervin Dugger, and two sisters, Helen O'Trimble and Shirley Black.
She is survived by two beautiful daughters, Kayla Jean "Johnston" Ellis (husband Chad; grandchildren Taylor, Marki, and Keira) of Amelia, OH and Cassie Dawn Callaway (grandchildren Jacob, Bradley, and Kalyssa) of Leavenworth, Kan.; two stepchildren, Vicki Callaway, Chillicothe, Mo. and Anthony Smith, Barlesville, Okla; six siblings, Betty Bramble and Linda Stahl, Atchison, Kan, Kenneth (Tracy) Dugger, Leavenworth, Kan., Donald (Marilyn) Dugger, St. Joseph, Mo.; Carol (Larry) Meyer, Omaha, Neb., and Sherry (Jerry) Crane, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary worked in various retail positions over the years, but her passion was cake decorating. Her joy was making cakes for family and friends.
The Family invites you to a memorial service and dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday evening October 13, 2012 at the Faith Evangelistic Center, 120 N. Broadway, Leavenworth.
