Marilyn L. (Cassella) Corbitt, 76 of Leavenworth passed away October 4th, 2012, at Topeka, Kansas Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 11th, 2012, at Belden Larkin Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Self officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 10th, 2012, with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, Kan.
Marilyn was born October 19th, 1935, in Leavenworth County the daughter of Rowland and Ethyl (Jamison) Cassella.
Marilyn attended and graduated from Immaculata High School and was a beauty queen while attending the high school. She loved listening to Tom Jones and Elvis music. Marilyn worked for many years as a secretary at St. John's Hospital and Cody Hotel.
Marilyn married Samuel A. Corbitt on March 1963.
She is survived by one daughter Sandra Corbitt of Leavenworth, and two nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Rowland G. Cassella, Jr., and a sister in law, Barbara Casella.
