Lansing's Seventh Annual “Autumn in the Grove” fall festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday rain or shine. The event is scheduled for Kelly Grove Park, located at East Gilman Road and Kansas Highway 7 if conditions stay relatively dry. If the rains persist, the event will move indoors to the Crossroads United Methodist Church, located just north of Kelly Grove Park.
Admission to the event is free. There are 47 booths and vendors.
The “Grooving in the Grove” karaoke contest will start at 1 p.m. There will also be pumpkin decorating, children's crafts, artisan demonstrations, a scarecrow entertainer and a bonfire, weather permitting. Visitors will also be able to vote for their favorite scarecrow in the Lansing Historical Museum's annual scarecrow contest. Food and drink is also available. Crossroads United Methodist Church will also be hosting a chili feast from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note: The Lansing Historical Museum will be closed Saturday in support of this event.
