It was a rough start to the Pleasant Ridge football team’s district playoff Friday.
Traveling to Silver Lake, the Rams lost 55-0 to the undefeated Eagles, who now sit at 7-0.
"We played hard," PR coach Pat McCollim said. "We didn’t back down. They have a lot of talent on their team, they are well coach and have had a lot of success. I thought our team played hard and kept fighting."
Pleasant Ridge, 2-5 on the year, has a huge home contest Friday against Maur-Hill. Win that, and the team’s regional playoff hopes are alive and well.
Lose, and those dreams dimmish greatly. The contest will begin at 7 p.m.
