  • Citizens are asked to provide their input regarding two sets of traffic light signals at Broadway and Ottawa streets and Seventh and Ottawa streets.
A traffic study determined the signals were not warranted. However, city commissioners have asked for public input to determine whether the traffic signals should be removed.
The traffic lights have been placed on “flash” mode beginning this week as a test period that will end Nov. 19.
City staff will take public input via phone, email and social media and provide a report to commissioners. Citizens are asked to provide input about the traffic signals by Nov. 27 by calling 913-684-0375 or email clarkin@firstcity.org.
