Eleanor Ann Falk, 96 a lifelong resident of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away Thursday, November 8th, 2012 at a Maryville, Missouri nursing home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 Friday, November 16th, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Bertels officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at Belden Larkin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Eleanor was born August 11th, 1916 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Otto and Mary (Guenther) Falk. She attended St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Immaculata High School. Eleanor worked for Prudential Insurance Company and Armed Forces Cooperative Association until her retirement in 1982. At Armed Forces she wrote endorsements for homeowner policies. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Parish and St. John’s Hospital Guild. Eleanor had found memories of her father Otto, having a good attitude about life and attributes her positive approach toward life to him. She is survived by three nephews Jim Stephens and his wife Mary Anna, Tom Stephens and his wife Linda, and Joe Stephens and his wife Beverly. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers will be Tom, Jim, Joe, Brett, Bryce, Jon, Thad, and Jeff Stephens.
