  • Team: Lansing boys swim
    Coach: Josh Floetke
Key returnees: Stephen Szmed, Dion DePaolis, Eli Dossey, Jake Hecht, Chase Hoffman, Tyler Tavano, Jack Bresser, Jose Guillen, Chase Martin
Newcomers to watch: Luke Lozenski, Matt Holden, Joe Walter, Sam Sheaks
Team Outlook: STRENGTHS — Experience and leadership headline Lansing’s strengths.
A core of returning juniors will provide the Lions with a wealth of seasoning while Stephen Szmed, the group’s lone four-year senior, comes in as the team’s unquestioned leader.

WEAKNESSES —  Despite the high upperclass turnout, the team is relatively small and thus individual performances will be even more vital to the team’s overall scores throughout the year.
Big meets: Home meets on Jan. 15, Jan. 22; At Inter-League Championship meet on Feb. 6
Coach says: “I’m looking forward to a great season. I am encouraged by the positive attitudes and strong work ethic of our team members.”
