Letter: FreedomFest was great, and no complaints

KUDOS for Freedom Fest: Hat's off to the organizers of the Freedom Fest celebration at Warren Middle School over Veterans' Day weekend.

It was very well done and a wonderful tribute to us veterans and our families who have sacrificed so much to preserve the freedom that we all too often take for granted.

I am surprised; however, that no letters to the editor were written from Warren neighbors about the associated noise. Whereas the annual spring Cancer Relay For Life only lasts 12 hours once a year, Freedom Fest this year at Warren was much louder, later, and lasted over 48 hours, yet no noise complaints. Veterans get cancer too!
