Letter: Witnessed young man's great act of kindness

To the editor:

On, Nov. 11, I witnessed a truly act of kindness.

A young man by the post office saw and helped an elderly lady with a cane trying to cross Fourth Street.

He flagged for people to stop, so she could cross the street.

What a truly gracious thing to do.

I wish there were more people that would take the time to be compassionate.
