High Noon Saloon Fourth Annual Rudolph Red-Nosed Run is set for Saturday

When is this year's Rudolph's Red-Nosed Run?
Rudolph's Red-Nosed Run will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, starting at High Noon Saloon. The race will begin at noon.

What is the purpose of the race?
The City of Leavenworth Parks and Recreation has attempted to develop races that are unique to our community.
The distance and awards from Rudolph's Red-Nosed Run make this race different from any other race in the area.
It brings runners specializing in different distances (5K, 10K, half marathon) together to compete in a unique distance.
Where is the event held at?
This course has been advertised as 7.2 "Tuff Miles." The race starts at the High Noon Saloon in the middle of 2nd and Choctaw Streets.
The runners run South on 2nd Street before turning east onto Marion Street to Home Place. They will then enter the Dwight D. Eisenhower Veterans Administration campus proceeding around the outer edges of the beautiful campus and returning to Limit Street.
The course is then takes a similar, yet slightly different route, on its return to High Noon.
Who is sponsoring Rudolph's Red-Nosed Run?
The City of Leavenworth Parks and Recreation is sponsoring Rudolph's Red-Nosed Run. High Noon Saloon is the corporate sponsor of the event.
Several other local businesses and organizations have joined in the sponsorship: Genesis Health Clubs, Gronis Hardware, Henry Martens GM Superstore, Lanterne Rouge/C.A.V.E., Passantino Family Markets — Country Mart, Queen's Pantry, The Guidance Center and Tom & Ann's Haircolorists.
What makes Rudolph's Red-Nosed Run unique?
The overall male and female winners will receive an actual antler plaque donated by Rick Schwinn.
When the award ceremony is complete, High Noon is providing all of the participants a free pasta buffet. Also, within the participant packages are antlers souvenirs from the Chamber of Commerces in Antlers, Okla., North Pole, Alaska, and Santa Claus, Ind.
