To the editor:
Dear Santa Claws,
We are the "nice not the naughty" animals of OWL and we're writing to you today to ask for the following Christmas presents. All of us were orphans and were fortunate enough to have someone find us and take us to OWL. They provided a good home for us, taught us to be responsible and independent so we could survive in the wild on our own and raise our own families.
On Sunday, Dec. 9, from noon until 5 p.m. the OWL facility will be open in Linwood, Kan., at 23375 Guthrie Rd to our "Santa Claws." They will serve hot cocoa, cookies and punch.
Can't pick your favorite critter or don't have the time to shop? Then donate financially to support Operation WildLife so they can support future generations of babies and injured wildlife. Either way come bearing your gifts for "us" the animals and enjoy some of OWL's hospitality.
