Wildcats overpower Pioneers

On Saturday, the Leavenworth boys’ basketball team struggled to gain traction inside the paint.

The result was a lack of an inside presence, both offensively and defensively, and ultimately a loss. In the 2012 Citizens National Bank Invitational Basketball Tournament championship, the Pioneers were topped 62-48 by Washington.

Leavenworth, 2-1, will host Bishop Miege Friday at 7:30 p.m.
