As the year winds down, we wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to you, our loyal friends and customers. Thank you for your continued interest and patronage in 2012! We wish you a Happy New Year filled with peace, hope, joy, prosperity, good health and many regular visits to your hometown brewery.

On a serious note, we'd like to update you on how we are dealing with two areas of concern that we all have – the economy and the environment.

We, at the High Noon Saloon & Brewery, are concerned that three of America's most popular beer brands which everyone considers "domestics" have been purchased by foreign-owned companies whose profits go off-shore. In our current economy we prefer to see American dollars stay on American soil to further stimulate our economy.

Anheuser Busch was recently purchased by INBEV, the Belgian/Brazilian owned brewery, the largest brewer in the world with 25 percent of the global beer market. Foreign owned.SAB Miller/Coors was recently purchased by South African Brewery, second only in size to INBEV. Foreign owned. It is our belief that in a free country, the consumer should make their own choice. Therefore, we still carry Bud Light, Coors Light, and Miller Light beers on draft and have reduced our bottled beer selection (see environment below). We ask those of you who have not done so yet to consider the alternative truly American beers… American micro-brewed beers… and locally, our High Noon Saloon craft beers.

Additionally we are deeply concerned about the environment and have taken a number of steps to do our part to conserve energy, recycle and reuse resources. Through recycling and re-use, the High Noon Saloon & Brewery is able to divert over 50 percent of its waste from landfills and contribute to the reduction of energy use in our corner of the world.

100 percent of our waste oils are sent to a reprocessing plant for conversion to bio-fuel and other products.Cardboard, paper, plastics, spent printer ink cartridges, tin, aluminum, and steel are collected and recycled. Our beers are dispensed from draft aluminum kegs that are cleaned and reused hundreds of times, reducing the need for heavy, energy intensive, throw-away glass bottles. Our brewery waste cooling water is used throughout the facility for cleaning, laundry, and maintenance applications.n Our micro-brewed beer is distributed to the marketplace in 100 percent recyclable aluminum cans. Our spent brewing grains are donated to local farmers to feed livestock.
We thank you for your patronage and we look forward to serving you in 2013!
