A Leavenworth man was arrested after he allegedly battered his girlfriend's son Thursday in Lansing, a police spokesman said.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to the hospital. Lansing Police Chief Steve Wayman said he didn't know the extent of the victim's injuries.
The incident was reported around 4 p.m. Thursday at the victim's residence in the 200 block of Frances Lane.
The victim reportedly asked the 35-year-old suspect to leave the residence. The suspect became angry and allegedly battered the other man, according to Wayman.
"He left the area in a vehicle," Wayman said of the suspect.
Police were provided an address in Leavenworth where the suspect might go. Wayman said the suspect was located by Leavenworth authorities.
The suspect was arrested for an allegation of aggravated battery.
