Commissioners agree to first phase for Community Center

When they met Tuesday, Leavenworth city commissioners took up the following issues:

City Manager Scott Miller reviewed a process for requesting proposals for the future use of the building that previously housed the Carnegie Arts Center. Miller said the proposals can involve the acquisition of the building from the city or leasing the property.

Commissioners listened to a report from Economic Development Administrator Gary Bartek.
