When Leavenworth city commissioners met Tuesday, they took the following action:
They approved a 3 percent salary increase for City Manager Scott Miller. Miller said his annual salary before the increase was $125,800.
A 3 percent increase works out to an additional $3,774.
The vote came after commissioners met in executive session for 20 minutes to evaluate the city manager.
They voted to reinstate the traffic lights at Seventh and Ottawa streets but remove the lights at Broadway and Ottawa.
They approved an agreement with Wilson & Company for design services for 2013 sidewalk projects in an amount not to exceed $64,600. The vote was 4-1 with Urban voting against it. Urban expressed concern that the matter had not been put out for bids.
