  • The city of Leavenworth's annual Citywide Spring Clean-Up will come a little early this year, and officials already are seeking volunteers.

      Leavenworth's Citywide Spring Clean-Up is scheduled for April 6.

      People interested in selecting an area of the city to clean up or who might be interested in helping sponsor the event should contact Public Information Officer Melissa Bower at mbower@firstcity.org or 913-680-2610.

      Forms for volunteers are available on the city's website, www.lvks.org, and at the Riverfront Community Center.
      Forms are due to the Public Information Office at City Hall by March 1.
