Clarence D. Roberston, 76, of Leavenworth, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. Clarence was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Atchison, Kan., the son of Frank W. and Agnes E. (Kopp) Robertson.
Clarence had been in failing health for a number of years.
He served in the United States Navy for 10 years and the Army Reserves for six years. Clarence worked in Aviation as an Aircraft mechanic.
Clarence is survived by five Children, two daughters, Nes (Ernest) Barse and Sarah Robertson; three sons, Frank Clark, Robert Robertson and Steven Robertson; four brothers, Cecil (Wanda) Robertson, George (Sharon) Robertson, Lee Roy (Ella) Robertson and Irvin (Pat) Robertson; four sisters, Agnes Trowbridge, Gladys (Ralph) Courter, Mary Cowing and Rita (Gene) Hunt; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Frank, Leland and Orville Robertson; and a sister, Beatrice Lupton.
Visitation will be from 11 to 12 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be at 12:30 p.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery. There will be a potluck lunch following the service at the funeral home.
