City Commission to meet Tuesday

The Leavenworth City Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 100 N. Fifth St.

Commissioners are scheduled to have a study session followed by a special meeting.

Study session agenda items include a Leavenworth Public Library presentation, a review of an Animal Control project, the Convention and Tourism Committee, the 2013 federal legislative program and a community improvement district.

Commissioners will have a special meeting in order to take action on a purchase agreement for property at 2900 Tonganoxie Road.
