Authorities are investigating an incident in which a woman is alleged to have attempted to run a man off the road in south Leavenworth, a police spokesman said.
The incident was reported early Tuesday morning in the 5000 block of South Fourth Street.
Lt. Chris Kear of the Leavenworth Police Department said the victim, a 42-year-old rural Easton man, and the suspect, a 47-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman reportedly had an argument at a restaurant in Lansing.
Kear believes the victim and suspect were boyfriend and girlfriend.
The victim told police he drove away from the restaurant to avoid a disturbance but was pursued by the suspect, who drove her own vehicle, according to Kear.
The two vehicles collided when the suspect allegedly tried to force the victim off the road. Kear said there was minor damage. No injuries were reported.
The suspect apparently drove away. Kear said police had no contact with her.
