When they met Tuesday, Leavenworth city commissioners took up the following issues:

They reviewed plans for a new Animal Control center and asked the police chief and architect to try to reduce the cost for the project.

They discussed making a change to a recently approved agreement with the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce regarding the city’s Convention and Visitors Bureau. The change would eliminate a new city residency requirement for members of the Convention and Tourism Committee.

They reviewed federal legislative priorities for the city.

They listened to a report about the Leavenworth Public Library.
