John "Jack" A. Rauch, 82, Of Leavenworth passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Medicalodge. He was born October 11, 1930 to Walter and Corinne Rauch in St. Charles MO. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 1948. He then attended and graduated from Valparasio University. He enlisted and served in the US Army and fought in the Korean Conflict. After discharge from the Army he went to work for the Missouri Department of Transportation, then for Kurtz Concrete, and for the majority of his working years at Martin Marietta Aggregates.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Corinne Rauch.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5:30 till 6:30 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be Monday March 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles, Mo.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Legion Post 312, 2500 Raymond Drive, St. Charles, MO 63301 or Leavenworth Public Schools Education Foundation, P.O. Box 969, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
