Team Outlook: Strengths — While the team's overall numbers are slightly down, the Lady Pioneers do boast a strong upperclass group that should provide excellent leadership.
Along with that guidance, Padilla also highlighted the squad's overall work ethic as a strength among this year's team.
Weaknesses — As before mentioned, the 18-person group is relatively small in comparison to other squads, leaving some inexperienced depth towards the back-end of the roster.
Big meets: Topeka High Invitation on April 4; At Lawrence High on April 16
Coach says: "We have a relatively small, but very talented group of swimmers this season.
"What we lack in numbers we make up for with heart and the girls' work ethic is strong. The team is very supportive of one another. They have committed themselves both in and out of the pool.
"I couldn't be more proud of them. This is by far one of the most talented groups we have had in the pool for LV in a while."
