A Leavenworth County man was taken to the hospital after his vehicle overturned early Sunday morning near Tonganoxie, according to a report from the Sheriff's Office.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
The accident was reported at 2:15 a.m. Sunday west of Knight Road on Sandusky Road.
A 46-year-old man, who's from the Tonganoxie area, had been driving west in a 2005 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle went into a ditch and overturned, according to the report.
The driver reportedly suffered multiple cuts and scratches. And he complained of multiple pains. He was transported by Leavenworth County EMS to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment and observation.
Multiple opened containers of alcohol were found in the vehicle, according to the report.
