Each year KSHSAA recognizes schools participating in the state basketball tournament who exemplify the qualities of outstanding sportsmanship.
On Tuesday, Leavenworth High School principal Dr. Tom Barry was awarded a certificate noting that the school had met the qualifying standards of sportsmanship.
A special sportsmanship committee appointed by the KSHSAA evaluated and rated the cheerleaders, school cheering section, adult and non-high school followers, team and coach of each school.
Great pub for one of the local schools. Congrats Dr. Berry.
