Team Outlook: STRENGTHS — Immaculata's season will start and end with its pitching staff, which has depth and experience.

The squad has added athleticism and speed this past offseason according to Metivier, who is excited about the development.

"Speed will allow us to use the entire field and add other weapons to our team's toolkit," the Raiders coach said, "something we haven't had in past years."

WEAKNESSES — Replenishing the ranks, especially the leadership holes left by seniors, is and will always be one of the biggest obstacles for Immaculata. This season is no different.

Big games: Versus Pleasant Ridge April 22; Versus Valley Falls April 29

Coach says: "This is the ninth year of Immaculata baseball.

"The program is strong and we are realizing the positive impact of our youth programs. Larry Wilson's, and his volunteer coaches during the summer, efforts have laid a great foundation for our program.

"Incoming players are varsity ready, integrating and improving the team easily and quickly."
