Mayetta P. Dye, 63, formerly of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away April 2, 2013 in Arkansas City, Kansas.
Graveside Services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present will be prior to the graveside service from 11 a.m. until 2:15 p.m., on Wednesday, at Belden Larkin Funeral Home.
Mayetta was born April 29, 1949 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Elbert and Emelia (Butchko) Dye.
Mayetta lived at home with her parents until requiring additional care and moved to Winfield, Kansas, and later moved into Creative Community Living in Arkansas City, Kansas until her passing.
Mayetta enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, loved music, especially when her dad played the banjo and guitar, and looked forward to visits from family and friends.
She is survived by one brother; Norman L. Dye of Lansing, KS, many cousins, and many friends from the Arkansas City, Kansas area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Elbert Dwight.
