After falling 10-0 to Shawnee Mission South Thursday, the Leavenworth girls' soccer team is still searching for that elusive first win.

The Lady Pioneers will try to wrestled down that victory and kick its current five-game skid aside when it travels to Baldwin today for a 4:30 p.m. match.

“We played a lot better aggressive-wise tonight, trying to get some offense going,” LV coach Ken Lott said. “It was a step in the right direction. Leaps and bounds really, so we need to just keep growing.”

“If we can continue to improve, the goals and then wins will come.”
