  • A rural Easton man who had been accused of kidnapping has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, according to a prosecution official.
Bobby Flowers, 19, entered the plea Friday in Leavenworth County District Court. The aggravated assault charge stems from a Dec. 7 incident in the rural Easton area.
In addition to the aggravated assault count, Flowers had been charged with kidnapping, criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied building, battery and criminal damage to property. The other charges were dismissed Friday as part of a plea agreement, according to court records.
County Attorney Todd Thompson said the prosecution had consulted with the victims about the plea.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 22.
Thompson said Flowers likely will receive probation.
