Calvin Warren Wilson, age 82, died on Friday, April 12, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital following a time of declining health. He was born August 4, 1930 in Denver, Colorado to Alonzo and Grace (Wealty) Wilson and grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas. He attended Immaculata High School and was a graduate of St. Mary's College. He was a longtime resident of Leavenworth, Kan. where he began his career in Civil Service at Fort Leavenworth after spending a tour of duty with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1985 after 34 years of service, as a Transportation Inspector. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Leavenworth and moved to Mustang in 2001 to be near his children. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Fred and two sisters Barbara and Alberta. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Elaine of the home, one daughter Regina Sutton and husband Vaston Glendon, Jr. of Mustang and one son Dean Wilson of Bethany, Okla. Also by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother Jim Wilson of Casseville, Mo. and two sisters Dorothy Nagel of California and Jean Kozak of Shawnee Mission, Kan. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma. Military honors will follow.
