With the weather finally cooperating, the Immaculata and Pleasant Ridge track teams competed at Hiawatha on Thursday.
Of the two local schools, it was the Rams who faired the best.
The Ridge girls came in fifth overall while the PR boys were seventh.
“We had a really good night,” PR coach Glenda Connelly said. “Both the girls and boys relay teams had best times. The girls' 4x800 took off 24 seconds, so we are really excited for that relay team.”
The Raiders saw its boys' squad come in 10th and its girls' team earn 11th.
“We went up a little shorthanded with just eight competitors,” Imac coach Terry Jordan said. “The weather cooperated giving the athletes a great opportunity to compete.”
Below is a quick rundown of each school's top highlights:
Tony Weber, first in boys' 1,600 and 3,200 meters
