The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference recently announced its 2013 all-conference softball awards.
Among those award winners were two Saint Mary players. Pitcher Steeli Norton was selected second-team all-KCAC while third baseman Kristina Hoffman was picked all-KCAC honorable mention.
Norton led the team in innings pitched with 116.1 frames tossed, a 4.21 ERA and 53 strikeouts. Hoffman concluded the season with a .298 batting average, 14 RBIs and 31 hits.
USM finished the season 9-25 overall with a 5-13 conference mark and made the league’s postseason tournament.
