  • The Lansing Middle School track team recently had several members break long-standing school records.
    The 4x400 meter relay team of Zoie Hayward, Tori Robinson, Emma Bresser and Sara LaMoe, pictured above from left to right, set a new mark of four minutes, 30.1 seconds. Pictured below from left to right are Cierra Robinson, Quinton McQuillan and Robinson, who snatched up several individual school records.
    Cierra Robinson established a new shot put mark of 38-feet, 7.24-inches, as did McQuillan who threw a record 44-feet, 9.25-inches.
    Tori Robinson leaves the school with two individual records ― the 800 meters and two-mile run.
    Her best 800 meter time was two minute, 29.2 seconds in the 800 meters and her two-mile run was 12 minutes, 26 seconds.
