This Saturday St. Joseph Catholic Church will host its 12th annual Germanfest.
Three event highlights
1. The German meal consists of German recipes for sauerbraten and bratwurst with sauerkraut, German hot potato salad, red cabbage and has been handed down from earlier German immigrants to Leavenworth. Many parishioners are sharing their time and talents to prepare these foods for the guests of the festival.
