  • Ann Marie Taylor, our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted sister, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2013. Ann Marie was born in Leavenworth, Kan., on July 24, 1947, the youngest child from the union of her parents, Ephraim R. Taylor and Beatrice (Horton) Taylor. Her parents, four brothers, Vernon Taylor, Samuel (Robert) Taylor, Leon Taylor and Frank (Jerry) Taylor; two sisters, Mabel Taylor and Mary Louise Taylor, preceded her in death.
Ann Marie attended public schools in Leavenworth and early in her life felt a call to the ministry. Towards this end she enrolled at Saint Mary University and took several divinity courses which strengthen her already strong Christian beliefs.
Ann Marie was a devout Christian all of her life, and passed her beliefs along to her children. Ann Marie was a lifelong member of Saint James CME Church and served for many years as a Missionary and Stewardess, working with the youth of the church, and singing in the choir.
Ann Marie is survived by four daughters: Tricia M. Robinson, Angela M. Robinson, Lisa R. Baker and Florence £. Crum, and one son: Jason L. Crum, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grand children, three brothers: Rusala (Eph) Taylor, Ralph Taylor, and Larry Taylor. Ann Marie also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be at Saint James CME Church, 621 Pennsylvania, from 9 to 10:45 a.m., on Monday, July 1, 2013. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Officiating pastors will be Rev.
