William Michael Marlowe, 58, of Leavenworth, passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at home, surrounded by family. He was born Jan. 24, 1955, the son of Forrest L. & Vivian L. Marlowe in Fort Crowder, Mo. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Forrest L. Marlowe and his grandmother, Louise Naramore. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1973. He then served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1979. Mike is survived by mother, Vivian Marlowe; son, Clayton Marlowe; daughter, Mica (Neil) Cramer; brother, Eric Marlowe; sisters, Darla (Jesse) Woods and Deanna (Brad) Davison; nieces, Sarah, Jessica and Kelli; nephews, Jon, Joel, Jim and Beau; and his grandchildren, Khloe, Kayden, Keylee, James, Dakoda and Wyatt. Mike worked for the U.S. Postal Service 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and calling bingo. He served one year as president for the local Eagles Aerie 55. Visitation to be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2013, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Graveside services with military honors will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
