Still time to sign-up for the Pleasant Ridge football clinic.
The official start of the high school football season is less than two weeks away.
Yet, before the Pleasant Ridge program becomes fully engrossed in its 2013 campaign, it's taking time to give back to the community.
Beginning Monday, the Pleasant Ridge High School coaching staff and players will host a youth football camp that will last until Thursday. Each daily session will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will take place on the high school's practice field.
The camp is available to all youths between grades 1-6 and cost $25 per camper, with each participant receiving a T-shirt. The Rams coaches and players will teach football fundamentals and techniques, along with an introduction to the high school's offense and defense system plus much more.
Camp registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the PRHS practice field.
