Emily Rose Klundt, 95, of Leavenworth passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was born in New Salem, North Dakota on April 1, 1918, the daughter of Henry and Emma Arndt.
She graduated from the Bismarck School of nursing with a 4 year registered nursing degree and then went on to Chicago for additional nursing school.
She married Victor H Klundt in 1946. She is survived by a brother, Clarence F Arndt and son, Sidney V Klundt. She was preceded by a brother, Hank Arndt and a son, Rodney H Klundt.
Emily was the main founder of the Epilepsy league of the state of Kansas, member of the Kitchen band, and a 35 year member supporter of the Salvation Army.
