Authorities made several arrests in connection to a recent drug search in Leavenworth, a Sheriff's Office spokesman said.
The arrests were made Thursday after a search warrant was served at a room being rented at the Commander's Inn, 1118 N. Sixth St., according to Undersheriff Jim Sherley.
Authorities found suspected methamphetamine and marijuana during the search. Sherley said authorities found evidence related to possible distribution of the suspected drugs.
Two men and two women who were in the room were arrested for various drug-related allegations. One of the women already had two arrest warrants through Leavenworth County District Court for drug and fraud charges. One of the men had an existing arrest warrant through Leavenworth Municipal Court for allegedly failing to appear, according to Sherley.
