Author speaks at King Solomon Lodge
Three event highlights
1. Sanford Holst, author of "Templar Inferno: Knights of the Rebellion," will be speaking Saturday night at King Solomon Lodge No. 10 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. The lodge's Masonic temple is located in downtown Leavenworth. The lodge is sponsoring Holts' visit.
2. Holst will be speaking about the history of the Knights Templar. Following his remarks, there will be a question and answer session. Questions about anything related to Knights Templar and Freemasons will be welcome, according to Hans Stephensen, treasurer for King Solomon Lodge No. 10.
3. Holst also will be speaking during the Buffalo Bill Days festival at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Library Stage. Stephensen said King Solomon Lodge No. 10 will have a booth at the festival, and Holst will be doing book signings. Stephensen said Buffalo Bill Cody, for whom the festival is named, was a member of the Masonic Knights Templar group.
Why you should attend:
"It would be a chance to find out the truth about Templars and Freemasons," Stephensen said.
He said there are a lot of myths about the Templars and Freemasons.
