  • Weekend races attract hundreds of riders

  • More than 250 riders participated in the Buffalo Bill Century and Criterium races over the weekend. In the junior female category of the criterium, Abby Olsen placed first and Elizabeth Finnegan placed second. Carl Fischer placed fifth (in the money) in the Masters 50 plus category after riding 111 miles the day before. John Finnegan placed second in the junior males. Mark Ramsden placed eighth in men's category 4. Alex Ardussi also raced the category 4 and got 12th. In men's category 5, Mark Barnes finished 11th and Daniel Sheehan finished 12th. Collin Guy finished 16th in the men's category 5 in his first criterium. The next race for the Santa Fe Trails Bycicle Racing Team is the Manion's Cross in Kansas City, Kan. on Saturday.
