  • Lady Raiders win two matches on senior night

  • The Immaculata Lady Raiders will head into Saturday’s Sub-State 19-13 overall after picking up two wins during Tuesday’s senior night. Head coach Wendy Sachen said she was proud of the strong performances by the three seniors. Devin Paul had a serve percentage of 94 percent and she had three aces. She also had 14 assists and two kills. Cheyenne Spain went 10 for 10 serving with one ace. Emily Nine also had a successful night serving. She went 16 of 17 and added two digs on the night. The Lady Raiders improved their league record to 11-5 with 2-0 wins over Jackson Heights and Maur Hill. Immaculata beat Jackson Heights 25-12 and 25-19. The match against Maur Hill went 25-11 and 25-22 in favor of Immaculata. Saturday’s Sub-State will be in Valley Falls.
